Where are CI Special Agents Located?

Work locations within the United States are very flexible and, because electronic commerce has created a global economy where money laundering does not stop at the US borders, there are also a limited number of international assignments available. Strategically placing Special Agents on foreign soil is just one of the ways to stay one step ahead of the global financial crimes.

The US is divided into six areas - each one encompasses a number of field offices with many posts of duty (PODs). Special Agents have also been permanently assigned to Hong Kong, Colombia, Mexico, Canada and Germany, as well as at Interpol in Lyon, France.
